Vans Era - Men's
The Vans Era has been pumping out fresh styles since 1975. These kicks follow the same foolproof plan: A comfortably padded collar and a no-slip bottom give skaters a great feel for their board. The tradition continues today as the Vans Era is constantly getting slick new color updates. At this point, Vans is just showing off.
Uppers made of canvas and/or suede and/or leather.
Die-cut EVA insert.
Traditional gum rubber outsole.

This shoe has can be used for a lot. It looks amazing, skates for a while and they match just about everything you wear depending on what color you get. One of my favorite shoes.

Vans eras are really cool shoes, I wouldn't skate in them because they rip pretty easy. but other than that overall good shoe.

These Vans are clean they look good with my Chinos in my work attire or just chilling doing everyday stuff. Kinda bummed that I already managed to put a minor scuff the leather on both shoes but that was due to me being too careless. But hey they are vans theyre made to thrash.

These vans are the most chill pair to wear. It matches everything and the low cut shoe has a great look with skinny jeans. If you're looking for a new style of shoe this is the way to go!

the shoe is just a small bit big for me not enough to say the fit of it is too big but it still is somewhat large

I've been wearing Vans for 20 years and I gotta say that the quality of them has gone down in recent years.
The waffle grip is of course the best grippy sole in the business but, the rubber doesn't last as long anymore.
The sidewall rubber as well, it just crumples off in the wear heavy areas.
It used to sorta burn evenly after hours and hours of ollie/flip tricks.
Not anymore.

They do still have the best board feel out there, but I am looking for a new company to support as I can't afford new skate shoes all the time.
Pros: breaks in easy, stylish, great board grip
Cons: non-durable, toecap stitching rips easy, not alot of padding

The shoe breaks in well and is pretty durable, its a good everyday type of shoe if thats what youre looking for

Review for the multicolored van dorens. I have had these shoes for exactly 1 month now and i love them. When I first got them i wore them barefoot cuz i was lazy and got really bad blisters from sand flicking into the shoe. Then I couldnt wear them for about a week. Then When i could finally wear them i wore them all the time. I got tons of compliments for them and the occassional old person who says "oh those are the most colorful shoes i'v seen all day!" But after one week of intense wear the rubber completely detatched from the fabric. There was an inch on each side of each shoe where the rubber was completely detached. So i went to home depot and bought some pretty good super glue used that and it seems to be holding up well but i am seeing it start to detach again hopefully not as much as last time. Yes I know vans do this but not after 2 weeks and not as much as that. Maybe yours will be glued better because there seemed to be absolutely no glue allready there. They look great but dont be surprised if you need to but in an extra 5 or 6 bucks for some good glue
